  • To create a common strategy with the IEC/SMB to use the IEC CDD (based on IEC 61360­2) for content originating from ISO committees as, well as IEC committees - To explore the options for establishing a common Database with IEC for product properties and assess the costs, benefits, feasibility and modalities of each option - To propose a method which describes how to support the reference data from ISO/TC 184/SC 4 (e.g. ISO 22745 and ISO 15926) in the application of IEC CDD, including what improvements are required to the IEC CDD to support that data - To elaborate Guidelines in the form of a practice guide for cooperation between IEC and ISO committees - To link the study with the emerging efforts on Internet of Things, to avoid the creation of yet another standardized way to describe product properties
